PURPOSE

REVIVE is committed to protecting your privacy and has adopted careful measures to protect

the privacy and confidentiality of personal information provided to us.

This Policy applies to REVIVE International Limited (“REVIVE” and ‘We”), and explains how we

collect, use and disclose personal information. You may provide personal information to

REVIVE via the REVIVE website, Planning Centre platform and/or other third-party application

providers that may process your data.

By using the REVIVE website, completing any form (be it in digital or physical format), or freely

providing information by other means, including but not limited to verbal communication, then

you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.

KEY DEFINITIONS

In Australia, we are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act

1988 (Cth) (the “Act”) which govern the handling of personal information.

In this Policy, the term “personal information” has the meaning in the Act and includes

information about an identifiable individual, including their name, gender, date of birth,

address, telephone and fax numbers, email addresses, drivers’ licence details, credit card

details, photographs, employee details and where applicable, information that constitutes

“sensitive information.”

“Sensitive information” is a subset of personal information and includes information about a

person’s racial or ethnic origin, health information, political opinions, religious beliefs or

affiliations, philosophical beliefs, membership of a profession or trade association or trade

union, sexual preferences or practices and criminal record (including results of police checks).

COLLECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

REVIVE collects personally identifiable information, such as your email address, name, home or

work address, telephone number, social media information, health related information, details

of family relations and information regarding any area of service within REVIVE, as well as

information regarding activities that relate to criminal or alleged activity that in the view of

REVIVE could be an activity that has or may breach a law or has potential to cause harm to

any person if such information is not collected.

REVIVE also collects anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as

your ZIP code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favourites. We are a religious

organisation and can therefore hold data that is considered sensitive information, such as your interest in our services or products that are religious in nature.

There is also information about your computer or phone device hardware and software that is

automatically collected by REVIVE. This information can include your IP address, browser type,

domain name, access times and referring website addresses. This information may be used by

REVIVE for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide

general statistics regarding the use of the REVIVE website as well as to compile location-based

information for management purposes.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or

personally sensitive data through REVIVE public message boards or social media, then such

information might be controlled and processed by others.

REVIVE encourages you to review the privacy statements/notices of websites you choose to link

to from REVIVE so that you can understand how those websites collect, use and share your

personal information. REVIVE is not responsible for the privacy statements/notices or other

content on websites outside of the REVIVE domain of websites.

USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

REVIVE collects and uses your personal information to provide pastoral care for you, to

operate the REVIVE website and deliver the services you have requested or indicated

preference for. REVIVE also uses your personally identifiable information to inform you of other

products or services available from REVIVE and its affiliates. REVIVE may also contact you via

surveys to conduct research about your opinion of current services or of potential new services

that may be offered.

REVIVE does not sell, rent or lease data lists to third parties. REVIVE may, from time to time,

contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of

interest to you. In those cases, your unique personal identifiable information is not transferred

to the third party.

In addition, REVIVE may share personal information with trusted partners to help us perform

statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support or arrange for

deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to

provide these services to REVIVE, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your

information.

REVIVE does not on an individual basis disclose special category data, such as race, religion, or

political affiliations, without your explicit consent. If you attend one of our services or events

where such service/event is recorded, broadcasted, photographed or live streamed and you

happen to appear in such media, it may be seen as inferring a religious preference.

REVIVE keeps track of REVIVE web page visits in order to determine which REVIVE services are

most relevant. This information is used to deliver customised content and advertising within

REVIVE to persons whose behaviour indicates they are interested in a particular subject area.

REVIVE will disclose your personal information, without notice, only if required to do so by law

or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law

or complying with legal processes served on REVIVE; (b) protect and defend the rights or

property of REVIVE; and, © act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of

uses of REVIVE, or the public.

RETENTION & RIGHTS TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

REVIVE secures your personal information processed by REVIVE, from unauthorised access, use

or disclosure. REVIVE stores the personally identifiable information you provide on online

computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected by systems to limit

unauthorised access, modification, use or disclosure.

Personal information is also held and processed by third party service providers that enable

REVIVE to provide services to you. In such events REVIVE seeks confirmation on data processors

procedures for data protection and managing data breaches. When personal information

(such as credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of

encryption, such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol.

REVIVE will retain your personal information for as long as we have a relationship with you and

for a period of time afterwards where we have an ongoing need to retain it, such as a legal

requirement to retain certain data for 7 years, in accordance with data retention requirements

and practices as legislated.

You have a right to request to view, access, rectify and delete your personal information held

by REVIVE (safe for data we are legally obligated to retain); or object to our continued

processing of your personal data. If you wish to exercise your right, you may do so by emailing

privacy@revive.online.

REVIVE is not required to give you access to information to the extent that REVIVE reasonably

believes that giving access would pose a serious threat to the life, health or safety of any

individual, or to public health or safety; or giving access would have an unreasonable impact

on the privacy of other individuals; or your request is considered frivolous or vexatious; or the

information relates to existing or anticipated legal proceedings between REVIVE and you, and

would not be accessible via the process of discovery in those proceedings; or giving access

would reveal the intentions of REVIVE in relation to negotiations with you in such a way as to

prejudice those negotiations; or giving access would be unlawful; or denying access is required

or authorised by or under a court of law; or giving access would reveal evaluative information

generated within REVIVE in connection with commercially sensitive decision making processes.

If you wish to submit a complaint about any of your identifiable information held by REVIVE,

you may do so by emailing privacy@revive.online.

DIRECT MARKETING

REVIVE may use your personal information for direct marketing where REVIVE collected the

information from you, you have an expectation that REVIVE will use your information for this

purpose or REVIVE believes you have an expectation to receive information for this purpose. In

any event you will have a simple means by which you can indicate not to receive marking

information and unsubscribe from this service.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

REVIVE will occasionally update this Policy and encourage you to periodically review this

statement to be informed of how REVIVE is controlling, processing and protecting your

information.
