REVIVE is a family of passionate believers who love people and love Jesus. We are a church that is diverse in age, culture, and life, but all united around one mission - for everyone to know Jesus and find purpose. Whoever you are, our heart is for you to find a home where you can belong.
Although REVIVE was founded in March 2021 by Jason and Katie Mendis, it was birthed out of a revival in the early 1920’s. A group of believers influenced by the ministry of Smith Wigglesworth, a prominent evangelist, were stirred to plant and pioneer the first Pentecostal church in Sydney Australia.
Many generations have laid the foundation for what REVIVE is today. A vibrant, life-giving and loving church, that is committed to seeing souls saved and disciples made.
REVIVE is an affiliate of the Australian Christian Churches (ACC).

PASTORS
Jason & Katie Mendis are the Lead Pastors of REVIVE.
Together they have three beautiful children - Aniyah, Zion and Ember, who make life AMAZING. They love people, they love life, they love having fun, they love food and above it all - they love Jesus.
Both Jason & Katie have extensive ministry leadership backgrounds and have served faithfully since childhood. They have a large vision to lead a church that reaches the world with the life changing message of Jesus. Jason & Katie have a heart for the local church and are devoted to reaching as many people as they can. They are committed to raising leaders who make a difference in the world.

WE BELIEVE
We believe the Bible is God’s accurate and authoritative Word.
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
We believe sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God.
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
We believe in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
We believe in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit.
We believe the Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues which is the initial evidence of baptism in the Holy Spirit.
We believe God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.
We believe God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively.
We believe our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
